The egg strikes again

Join the the Korean Wave

I'm sad that Fridays are the only days that I can enjoy "Winter Sonata", my favorite cheesy daytime melodrama. I'm also sad that I didn't discover this fad phenomenon Korean soap opera during the actual winter months, when days and days of rain would have been perfect for renting the whole miniseries and watching them back to back in my wool socks in the papasan chair. That's right. When most babbling undergrads* around me are renting all the back issues of Grey's Anatomy to prepare for the season premiere, I'd be there at 49er Video (rock on Davis wiki) in the Korean section...again.

*I became embarrassingly self aware the day that I was walking around the CoHo cafeteria here during lunch hour and overheard my classic valley girl updating her friend on what I at first assumed was a real story...
"So then, Christina was thinking about how she could get George out of her apartment so she started walking around naked and..."
and then I quickly realized..."crikey. I saw that episode".

Oh yeah, and ask Brian Wong about the title to this post.

As you can see, thiis post has several side notes, and a vertiable warren of links to follow if you're really that interested. I've decided to include them all.

maybe it's just me, but if some girl wanted to get me out of her house, walking around naked definitely wouldn't be the best way to go about doing it.
